Hi There!

I'm Tim, a writer, storyteller, and sometime maker of things that don't require reading. Want to know more? See my full bio bio below.

About Tim

Tim Madison is a writer and a big believer in the power of storytelling and genre fiction. His primary writerly preoccupations are horror, humor, and non-fiction. Over his career, he has written for a wide variety of media, including animated television (ROBOTBOY, THE EMPEROR'S NEW SCHOOL, THE REPLACEMENTS), the internet (THE OFFICIAL KRESKY HOMEPAGE), theme parks (THE SIMPSONS RIDE, TRANSFORMERS: THE RIDE), interactive destinations, and museums.

After graduating from Washington College with a degree in English and Drama, Tim attended both the Warner Bros. Writers Workshop and Paramount Comedy Writers Apprentice programs, the latter of which earned him a writing internship on FRASIER. His website, THE OFFICIAL KRESKY HOMEPAGE, a loving parody of 70s cop shows and internet fandom, was received an A+ from ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY and named one of "The 100 Best Websites of 2000" by YAHOO! INTERNET LIFE magazine.

Tim has 20 years of experience in the destinations industry as a writer, producer, and creative consultant creating award-winning attractions and shows for companies like Universal Studios Theme Parks, Disney, Hersheypark, and Carnival Cruises.

When not writing, Tim can sometimes be found experimentally struggling in the visual arts, hiking, travelling, or trying to learn about stuff like history, anthropology, archeology, and outer space. He lives in bucolic southern New Jersey with his wife, two daughters, and dog.
